BASAJAUN is a young adult fantasy novel by Rosemary Van Deuren. The story follows twelve-year-old Cora as she befriends a rogue rabbit named Basajaun and enters a world of sentient rabbit ceremony, magic and danger.

BASAJAUN was self-published in 2009 and sold in select bookstores in Michigan and Wisconsin. Soon after becoming available on Amazon.com in 2010, the first print-run of BASAJAUN sold out.
The BASAJAUN book jacket was designed by the author, who did the photography that appears on the front and back covers.
